Just a quick recap of my week:
Sunday: Our wiener dog Tucker is on his 3rd day of hobbling around the house in pain. We go into freak out mode and immediately think back problems. I begin the premature mourning process for the loss of Tuck.
Monday: Take Tuck to the doctor and told they'd have to sedate him and take x-rays. Obviously it's a back issue. I almost stop and rent Marley and Me and prepare to pull out puppy pictures, have myself a couple of glasses of wine, and cry. Go to pick Tuck up that evening and I'm handed a bill for $275 and two bottles of pain meds. I immediately go from feeling distraught to a little pissed about forking out that much money for an x-ray and pills. Our dog always has been a little dramatic.
Tuesday: All our boys are going on week 2 of coughing up a lung and now the oldest is complaining of ear pain. Take them back to the doctor for the 2nd time in 6 days and wait in a germ infested waiting room for an hour. A sick kid next to us starts vomiting, falls out of his chair, and hits the floor passed out. I'm immediately reminded it could be worse. Leave doctor's office with another round of meds for cough and ear infection.
Wednesday: Driving to get Ethan from school when I get rear ended by two guys in a truck pulling a landscaping trailer. Mason is hysterical and Carson just wants his headphones that were knocked off so he can finish watching Nemo. Find out the guys only have a Mexico license but the truck they're driving is insured. A sigh of relief. Tucker is not limping around near enough for a dog that was just sedated and in pain. Get a little irritated again.
Thursday: Drive my broken car to the library, forget the back of my car is crushed, and roll the back window down. Window is now stuck and making a crunching noise.
Friday: Drive my broken car to the collision place and pull up as it begins to rain. Sweet. They have to drill two holes in the back of the car to get the window back up. Now driving a broken car with what looks like two bullet holes in the back until the car parts come in next week. Double sweet. Then get call from Ethan's school to come and get him. Fever and more ear pain.
And that, my friends concludes my week from hell. It's 2:30 in the afternoon, boys are passed out, it's starting to rain again, and I'm heading to put my pj's on. Movie night with the hubby couldn't come soon enough.

Oh Cindy! What a week... Surely this week will be fantastic to make up for last. I couldn't help but chuckle at your awful days (your retelling of it, though, was classic)
