Easter at Town Square

Don't let this first picture fool you. The Easter celebration at Town Square was a lot of fun, just a bit random. We dressed the boys up in their Easter duds and headed out to what we thought would be a massive egg hunt. Turns out, the egg hunt was planned by people without kids. The eggs were empty and we had to wait in line to hand them over in exchange for candy. Lame-o folks! However, after the candy exchange took place, the memories of empty eggs faded fast as the sugar rush set in. Overall, it was a good (and free) way to spend a morning.

Ethan decided that waiting in line to get his candy was for the birds. Smart kid. Let mommy and daddy do all the waiting.

The Easter Bunny cheers everyone up!

Not to mention this sweet foam hand. Were we at a baseball game or an egg hunt? I'm so confused.

Ahhhh. The sweet medicinal properties of candy.

Easter -Part Two

The boys started with the mad rush to the easter eggs!

Huh? No candy in the eggs?

You mean, I had to get dressed up in a sweater vest for this?!

The entourage....waiting in line to "redeem" the easter eggs for the candy. Lame-o....but fun nevertheless.

Park + Doughnuts = Great Time!

We've had some really beautiful weather lately. It has been nice to dust the camera off and get some shots of the boys playing outside. Our playgroup had a playdate at the park last week complete with Krispy Kremes doughnuts and hats for all.

Ethan sporting the Krispy Kreme hat!

Try tearing this doughnut away from Mason...impossible!

Yummy!

Spring has sprung!

Spring is finally here and soccer season has officially started! With a whole lot of convincing, Eric agreed to coach soccer this season. This is a big commitment and I am very grateful to have such an adventurous husband! Coaching a bunch of 3 year olds is no easy task, but so far it has been a great experience. I'll be sure and post video of Eric leading the 'Itsy Bitsy Spider' while the boys tap the balls with their feet in unison. It's pretty darn entertaining! Go Sharks!
