Halloween Disney Trip!

We just returned from a family trip to Disneyland and boy was it interesting! The trip began with extremely cold and rainy weather. We promised the boys we would take them to the beach the first day and quickly figured out why no one else was there. Ethan and Carson put their swimsuits on anyway and braved the freezing water. Mason and I stayed put on the blanket and huddled together for warmth. I didn't get many shots of the beach because it was so freaking cold!

The trip consisted of two boys with steady fevers and one black eye. Carson thought it would be fun to crawl out of the hotel crib on the hour every hour which resulted in him smacking his eye into the coffee table. We learned to NEVER prepay for a hotel room when you're traveling with toddlers! Aside from all of the mishaps it was a great time and we're so happy we got the chance to see Disneyland during a fun holiday like Halloween.

Great view of the castle but not so great of Walt Disney's missing head - oops!

Loving on Chip...or was it Dale?

Tigger!

My absolute favorite ride when I was little was the Haunted Mansion. They decorated it in The Nightmare Before Christmas theme and it did not disappoint! It was by far the best ride there!

Not sure why Ethan is grabbing Pluto's crotch or why seconds later his "master" came and took him away from the boys. Hmmm......

Cutest. Mouse. Ever.

Also the cutest mouse ever....with a black eye! This picture is a little blurry but it got worse before it got better.

Ethan hugging Eeyore at the character breaksfast.

Ethan sure looks happy here but later told me that Captain Hook was very mean bad guy. :)

They really go all out for Halloween at Disneyland! I had no idea what to expect but it really got us in the Halloween spirit even more....if that's even possible!

Amazing Mickey Mouse pumpkin display!

Ethan continues his love affair with Jessie from Toy Story. Wonder what he said to make her blush?

Pumpkin and Apple Picking

We made our second annual trip to Gilcrease Orchard this year and it did not disappoint. Last year we made the mistake of going too late when everything was picked over. This year we had so many pumpkins and apples that we had to put some back. The boys really enjoyed themselves. Happy Fall!!

Teeth Time!

I thought it would be smart to schedule dental appointments for all 3 boys at the same time. Little did I know we would be there for 2 hours!! Lesson learned, but we made the best of it. The only time it became unbearable was when we were stuck in the exam room for an hour with nothing but dental tools and latex gloves to entertain us.

Ethan was such a big boy and had no cavities! Yay Ethan!!

Carson watched Ethan carefully the whole time and then hopped right up in the chair ready for the exam. Unfortunately I couldn't get any pictures of Mason because he was screaming the crying the entire exam. We'll try again next time Mason!

We decided to get a group of girls together to see Britney Spears and celebrate Rachel's 31st birthday. What a blast! She put on an awesome show and it was so nice to have that much needed girl time. Happy Birthday Rachel!

The twins start school!

The twins recently started attending preschool twice a week. They just finished up their second week and they have absolutely loved it. Their teacher says they only fight with eachother (ha!) and that they listen and follow directions really well. I love picking them up and hearing all about their day. It's also nice to have some time to myself too! ;) They are growing up so fast!

All 3 ready to go!

My attempt to get a picture before walking the twins in the first day. Hmmm.....maybe this will get easier as they get older.

Howdy Partner!

This past Friday was Western Day at Ethan's preschool. For weeks now we have been hearing him practice his cowboy tunes. He was so excited to wear his cowboy gear and perform for us. Video will be posted soon!

Howdy Y'all!

He even pulled his hat down low like a real cowboy!

Cabo!!!

Eric and I just returned from a great trip to Cabo where we got the chance to get a chance to see one of my oldest and dearest childhood friends get married. I was 6 months pregnant with the twins on our last trip to Cabo, so my experience this time was a little more carefree and relaxed. The weekend flew by way too fast, but we were so thankful to have the time together. Congratulations Jenny and Mark!

I heart water....especially after 4 days of beer and margaritas!

Me and Jennie Cip! Love her!
