Ethan is starting to ask to hold his brothers.

My sister Kim and her son Ryan came to Vegas to visit this past weekend. We had an absolute blast! Kim and I treated ourselves to a Spa treatment at The Venetian. It was so nice to have our time together.
Ryan was so gentle with the twins. Every morning he asked to hold them and feed them their bottle.
Preparing for the arrival of his sister Kaitlyn.
Trying to get the whole family together. Tougher than we thought!

Ethan is having more and more fun being around his little brothers. Here he is taking one of the twins place in the bouncy. He's sitting next to Carson....we think!
Since Ethan has decided to start waking up very early, Daddy has been taking him on walks early in the morning so I can feed the twins. Poor little man. He was just too tired this morning.
Here I am holding two at once!
We decided to let the twins snooze on the couch together. Doesn't their little heads look so cute??

So far the twins really love the vibrating bouncy seats. Ethan loves to bounce them as well. Of course we have to be right there at all times. He tends to get a little too excited with them.
As soon as Ethan saw there pacifiers he went straight for them. He knew just what to do. Now we have to hide them on the kitchen counter!
Can we say regression?
The twins had their first doctor appt. today. It was eventful but very tiring for them. Carson weighed in at 5 pounds 1 ounce and Mason finally hit the five pound marker! We were relieved to finally see our pediatrician. He said they look great and are doing remarkably
well! We were pleased. :)

The last few days have been such a whirlwind! Ethan is slowly getting used to the idea of being a big brother. We started out on a bit of a rocky path though. Here he is throwing a tantrum when we tried to take the one of the twin's bottle away.
Digging for gold. Nice.
The dogs have been demoted once again. We are trying to give them as much attention as possible. Some days there is just no time! Poor Tucker is hanging in there as well as to be expected.
Sweet Presley.

Today we got a phone call out of the blue that we could finally bring the boys home! Eric rushed home to put the car seats in the car and I hurried around trying to get the Pack and Play set up. Ethan was dropped off at Julie's house and we were on our way!
When we got to the hospital, we watched a CPR video and began filling out paperwork. We were so anxious! All we could focus on was getting them home.
Ethan got such a kick out of his little brothers! All he wanted to do was pat them and say "babies." We don't think he quite understands yet, but soon they'll all be buddies.
Oops! Ethan is poking Carson on the face. We have to work on that one....

Mason sleeps peacefully while Carson eats. Look at those cheeks filling out! How cute!
Mommy trying to burp Mason. Do I remember how to do all of this??
The nurses tell us that they fuss when they're apart and they calm down the minute they are together again. We've also observed that they are starting to notice one another. What fun we are going to have!

While we were unpacking the office area, Ethan played on the computer.
He loves the computer! If I turn my head just for a second, he hurries upstairs and starts playing his favorite game.
The two quilts at the top of their crib were made by the ladies from the Methodist Church in Pahrump, Nevada. They were given to us as a gift for the boys. Thanks Jacqueline from Green Valley United Methodist for delivering them! They are darling!
Daddy on his lunch break feeding Carson. He is now eating as much as Mason! We are so happy for all the progress he has made.
