I went to Dallas Thursday afternoon to work with our GES office - met my grandparents and dad/stepmom at Gloria's in Colleyville - great Salvadoran/Tex-mex food. Friday worked with the Dallas team, and Friday night met up with old friends at a Bain alum/farewell event in Grapevine. Fun time. Met up with some of my Dallas friends Friday night at Tribeca - a little bar in Dallas.

Woke up Saturday and flew back on one of the US Air planes America West is flying - plane was disgusting. Old enough to have ashtrays in the armrest. Turbulent flight. And back to Ethan and Cindy and the rest of the family. Relaxed Saturday night and did yardwork today. Pics below.

So Easter weekend was a fun one.

Cindy flew to Houston Tuesday - I flew in Thursday. Cindy, her grandparents, and Ethan picked me up at Intercontinental and we headed over to Round Rock. After some wonderful Whataburger on the road, we rolled into Kim and Rob's new house. They moved ~7 miles away from their old house into a new house with a fun backyard and great space.

Thursday night we fired up some lasagna and had some beer in the backyard. Lindsay came up to RR to hang loose. Friday morning we hit up the Zilker Zephyr, a train around Zilker park. The kids loved it. Ryan couldn't stop saying Choo-choo. One of the pics below is on the train. Then we headed back to the house - I snuck away for some Chuy's, and we got ready for the night. Double Dave's delivered some pizza rolls - can't go wrong. Again, we had a bunch of beer on the back porch. Lindsay drove up. Saturday we woke up a little bit later, and had some breakfast tacos. We hung out with the family in the backyard - Ryan had his easter egg hunt - papa had his tooth popped back in and we headed back to Humble. We hit up some fondue Saturday night, and flew back in to Las Vegas today for Easter.

Ethan, Cindy and me at My Gym

 Posted by Picasa
Had a fun weekend - today Cindy woke up early and went to Church - I slept in and took care of big E. We hung out in the backyard -I trimmed the palm trees and Ethan crawled around in his pack and play. Great weather here this weekend.

Cindy got back - we went to My Gym -a Gym for kids - Ethan goes there every week with Cindy but I had never seen it - really cool place. Got back home - I watched the boring masters - with Phil boring taking the title - dislike him - wish he would start losing again. Now he's going for the Tiger slam - well woohoo Phil.

We went for a walk with the fam, and then had some Chicken Rustigo from mealmakers. It tasted great. Ate outside for the first time in 2006. Great weather will let you do that. Now just handling quicken and scrapbooking - getting ready for the week. Ethan hasn't cried in days - he's one content little man.

Capote was excellent - go and rent it - he deserved best actor.

Watching the Masters in HD -just looks great. Tivo+HD is wonderful.

Going to Dallas in a couple of weeks. Exciting.
Ethan did well last night - mom and dad ate about 15 pizza rolls - yikes - but they taste great.

Today Ethan is going to the Gym with Cindy, and then they're having friends over. I think we're watching Capote tonight and eating our final MEALMAKERS dinner - hooray!!! We need a couple of days off from that program.

We tried to do a crossword last night - it was a little harder than we remembered them being - so we switched to a word search instead. Much better. We'll tackle that crossword again tonight and see what we can do.

Ethan is learning to crawl - right now he is 8.5 months old - still spinning in circles. Yesterday we had him dressed up in Ira's gift, some clothes from P Diddy. Word. A couple of folks thought he looked like Eminem. Classy guy already. He has his hammer and he is ready to go.
