Number one it was really warm that day so Ethan is clearly burning up in his long sleeved shirt. Number two-this was at the end of the outing so Ethan clearly needed some water and a nap. Oh well- there is always next year!
Ethan has been insisting on feeding the twins lately. He actually does a pretty good job! It's nice to have a little helper.
On Friday, October 19th, Jason came over with some pumpkins and pumpkin ale. We decided to have a pumpkin carving contest. The night was just getting started!
Mine is the one on the left. It is clearly the best one don't you think? Jason kept making fun of my 7 legged spider. I think he was just jealous because his pirate ship was so inferior. Ha!

The Halloween festivities continue! Every year Mom's Club has their outing to the pumkin patch. Here is Ethan posing in front of the pumkins. I couldn't get him to smile. He was more interested in the rides.
Ethan and his girlfriend Danielle. Last year they rode together in the cars so we had to get a picture of them this year as well.
They look so serious!
Ethan loved going in the swings!

Ethan's first pony ride at the farm. He loved it so much he cried when it was over.
While in Texas, I sang at the wedding for a dear friend of mine from highschool. It was a gorgeous wedding and reception. I also got the chance to catch up with some old friends of mine. Left to right: Jennie Cipriano, me, Jenny Crawford and Alex Nagy. We had a blast! One of the main reasons we came to Texas was to visit my new niece Kaitlyn Elizabeth Roup. She was born September 10th, 2007. It was so much fun to hold a tiny baby again. Also, I get the chance to buy cute girly clothes! Ethan loved his new cousin "Baby Kaitlyn"
On our most recent trip to Texas (October) we made a trip to Old McDonald's farm with Nana, Papa and Mimi. Ethan loved to feed the animals with Papa.

At the end of September we took a trip back to Texas for Eric's highschool reunion. We were able to see Eric's family as well. Here is a picture of Eric's grandmother holding Mason.
Carson was fast asleep sitting on his great aunt Kathy's lap.
The Watson's were so sweet to watch the twins for a couple of nights so we could go to all the reunion activities.
Before the reunion- Left to right: Jason, Amy, Lane, Cindy, Eric and Marie

This weekend we decided to kick off the Halloween festivities by carving a pumpkin. Ethan loved touching all of the gooey insides of the pumpkin. He got restless very fast though and left mommy to finish the rest.
This was my first time to carve an elaborate pumpkin. It took a long time but it was so much fun!
The finished product! Ethan loves for us to light it up at night. I think he was a bit confused at first because he belted out the Happy Birthday song the first time it was lit. He's learning that candles aren't only for birthday cakes.
Ethan went to a jungle birthday party this weekend where he received this cool mask as a party favor. He is crazy about lions and tigers!

The twins have started to notice one another and all of us as well. They are now holding their heads up on their own and looking around at the world!
Ethan experimenting with his broccoli- yum yum!
Ethan developed pink eye this past weekend. Ugh! You can kind of see it here in his right eye. Poor baby. He had to miss a day of school this week which made him very sad!
One of the few times I actually get a break to hold them both.

Ethan celebrated his 2nd birthday on July 19th, 2007! We had his birthday party at Rock and Roll Kids in Henderson. He had an Elmo birthday party. It was super fun!
Ethan getting ready to blow out his candles. Actually, mom had to blow them out for him!
Later that day, we went home to open all of his gifts. Boy were we tired! We can't believe he is already two!
The twins also helped their big brother celebrate. Here is a picture of Carson with Michelle, our nanny. We LOVE Michelle!
